Charles Rendell Mabey (October 4, 1877 – April 26, 1959) was an American politician and the fifth Governor of Utah. He served as governor from 1921 to 1925. He was a Republican. ==Life and career== Mabey was born in Bountiful, Utah. He served in the United States army during the Spanish American War.〔(The Political Graveyard: Mormon Politicians in Utah )〕 From 1900-1903, Mabey served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) in Germany.〔Jenson. He was a member of the Utah House of Representatives from 1913 to 1915 and served again on active duty in the Utah Field Artillery during World War I.
